Before I learned about and acquired Creative Jewelry, I had never even heard of San Anselmo!

Since 1977, I have lived in Silicon Valley, the East Bay and the Peninsula, but never in Marin, though two of my children grew up in Tiburon.

Late in January of 2007, I learned that Creative Jewelry was for sale.  February 1, 2007, I owned it.  Since then, I have learned that I am part of a group of incredible businesses.  As I experience them, I will list their web sites here.

San Anselmo Inn

Julie McNair and her husband Peter are the proprietors.  Julie was one of my first clients and what a wonderful person she is.  She was so friendly and supportive.    Though I have not stayed there yet, I think Julie and her web site are all I need to know about it, at least for now.

Shibui Gardens

Located right behind us and to the right, this is an awesome place to go to after a hard day or week.  I love the half hour hot tub, followed by a great massage.  Rajni, has been my masseuse and she is awesome.  Just thinking about it makes me want to schedule another one right now!

Bubba's Diner

One of my clients told me that Carlos Santana, is often seen there and that it is one of his favorite places to eat.  Well, I don't know about Carlos, but I sure like it.  Turkey dinners, meatloaf, burgers, fries, shakes.  Good old American food.  I love it!

Taco Jane's

I had the Salmon tacos and boy were they good!  I saw this place the first day I came to San Anselmo, I thought it was an interesting name for what seemed a Mexican restaurant.  One day, I asked Claudia, a client, what places she liked to eat at that were close to my store.  She said she really liked Taco Jane's.  So very soon after that I had to try it.  It is really much more than a taco place.  They bill themselves as "Tropical Cuisine."  Call it whatever you want, I just call it delicious.

Orchid Thai Restaurant

I went to Thailand, a little over a year ago, so I know a little about good Thai cooking.  While there, I fell in love with their Tom Yum Kung, shrimp and Thai spices soup.  The Tom Yum Kung soup at Orchid, while not like I remember it, is still very delicious.  I can't wait to go back and sample more of their food. The waitress was delightful and the ambience very nice.  I just saw their web site and they have won many awards.  Not surprising.  I'll be bock.
